Do I really even have to say anything about test tube “burgers”?
While I understand Mark Post’s reasons for creating an alternative means to reduce the strain on the animals, the land, our water supplies and the amount of greenhouse gases (methane), these fictitious, sci-fi, and fake material is really just made from a petri dish.
When we tamper with our food, our bodies do not recognize it as “food,” and you can pretty much bet that it will cause additional health problems for the people that decide to eat it.
